How will injuries be handled? Can you post a summary of all the additional settings?
Thanks.

Questions:
1. How are initial contracts of drafted players handled? 2. Is service time handled as per MLB? 3. How do team budgets change (if at all) over time?

Are park factors taken into account?

1. Injuries - likely the default, but I'm open to ideas 2. Initial Contracts - That's why I will run a dummy draft and post results to see what contracts come out of it. Unless they've fixed the glitch in the new game where you can't draft current contracts 3. Service time will stay as MLB 4. Budgets and other factors change over time as you develop your market. We will let the game handle that. 5. Park factors don't change, the only thing that does is there's only 40k seats at each stadium to even the playing field.

5.r Park factors don't change, the only thing that does is there's only 40k seats at each stadium to even the playing field. Sorry, just so I’m clear. Does that mean everyone is permemamtly set in a neutral or identical park to every other team? Thanks.

No, the parks retain the same features, dimensions etc. Just the SEATING CAPACITY is set at 40k.
That is permanently set.

Just to be clear, you're saying you don't know how the game will handle drafted players' contracts just yet? What about when minor league players are drafted? It would be pretty jarring to force a rookie-ball player to have a major league contract, for example.

No, I'm saying in current editions, guys with MLB service time usually get randomized contracts /term, rookie leaguers don't have service time and don't get MLB contracts. The dummy draft will be done to show what contracts are assigned as a FYI to all, as much as to show anything else. HOPEFULLY the glitch is fixed and you draft their actual contract, but I am not holding my breath on that.

Gotcha. I understand. Some possible options: www.ootpdevelopments.com/board/showthread.php?t=1519721. Do the draft in a dummy league, save the rosters at the end, then export/import all the rosters to the "real" league. Time-consuming, though. 2. Start a league, turn financials off, then release all players and draft. Turn financials back on starting 1/2/18. (Needs to be tested.)

What happens to the minor league players that go undrafted? Autodrafted by OOTP? Assigned to RL teams? Other?
