DRAFT RULES
- Snake Draft
- Entry Draft in REVERSE order of round 1 of Fantasy Draft
- Draft will be 100 rounds long

DRAFT STRUCTURE
- Rounds 1-10 will be 1 round per night. It will be LIVE on ICQ in the chat room. Teams will have 2 minutes per selection.
- Teams can (and have) started selecting early in the google sheet, but it is NOT required
- Rounds 11-100 will be ran on the google sheet. A specific time slot will be assigned to teams each day to make their picks. You will know EXACTLY what time to be on.
- To attempt to spread out the selections, and not have late rounds be pure lightning rounds, we will do rounds 11-50 at 4 picks per day. Then rounds 51-100 at 5 picks per day.
- Time range the draft will be open will be from 10AM EST to 8:30PM EST each day. During the times the clock isn't on, teams can continue to make selections.
- If a team MISSES their time slot, they will have 1 hour to make a selection (can't take anyone taken after obviously), at which point the commishes (or designated person) will make a selection for them. This selection made will NOT be a high priced player.
- We will update as much as humanly possible throughout to keep things updated

AFTER THE DRAFT
- Players left 23 and older will be able to be signed as free agents in game
- Players 22 and under will be eligible to be drafted in entry draft.

Rounds 11-50
1. Make sure you know what time you're up tomorrow for your 4 scheduled picks!
2. All times listed are EASTERN, I believe I fixed the clock in the top left to show that.
3. If you go over your time slot, you will be skipped. You potentially could be skipped 4 times in a day. If you don't pick by the start of the next days clock, I will auto pick for you.
4. At the end of the night, the team next up can start picking, but no-one will be skipped until their time allotment passes. For instance, I have the first pick in r11, I can pick before my clock starts at 10am tomorrow, but then the Pirates would not be skipped until his allotted time passes at 10:10. So it IS possible to get ahead a bit.
5. If you can't be on to make a pick, send a list, send a proxy, do something. I have instructions from on team already through the weekend.

Updates
1. I will try and update the file as frequently as possible. OOTP pushed ANOTHER update today, so upgrade to that for tonight's file update. Hopefully I can update every few hours.
2. Do not be exporting unless I specifically say a window is open. I will NOT be grabbing them as it resets and changes I have made in the file.

Finances
1. Remember, you cannot go over your budget level, IF you do, you will only be able to draft players without contracts
2. The sheet shows contract numbers, but it's always a good idea to reference a default game for more details on the contract.
3. You will get a week to resign guys when draft is done. Again, don't be signing them now and exporting, it's not going to be loaded.

Hello everyone,

First off, the draft has gone great thus far with minimal hiccups, thanks to everyone for that, especially guys like John and Joe who have stepped up at various times to run things as my schedule caused concerns.

In light of a discussion today on the board, we quickly gathered GMs on the EC (Which we had been setting up) to have a quick discussion, and a vote. Effective tomorrow, we will be switching up the format of the draft to expedite it, and allow for a quicker process for those still making their selections.

1. Teams that are still making their picks will hammer out their picks in the same snake style draft during the day. Once they are done;
2. Teams on auto will be assigned their auto picks (which is the top specs at each position in regards to POTENTIAL, thrown in a pool, and randomized for an order). then we will update the file
3. Teams that have been picking late at the end of the draft will then able to make their selections by the start of the next day, or they will be autoed, and go in the auto pool for the next round.

A few quick points
1. You can move to a different grouping at any time, just let me know.
2. The auto list format won't change, you still have the same roll of the dice chance at a "good" spec, because these are the best left according to OOTP
3. Effectively this will let us stop drafting much earlier in the day, and once I get the file up, will allow teams to have updated files to pick from.
4. We would stop the picking ahead, so the next day we start at the top of the order, limiting the chance teams catching up continue to miss out on better players.

The EC has voted on this, and was unanimous that this was the best direction. So it will be in effect tomorrow morning.
